Our Story
At TumbleTX Gymnastics, we’re more than just a gym - we’re a community built on quality, fun, and family. Founded by Erica Meitz, TumbleTX brings a legacy of excellence to the north Austin area. Inspired by her first gymnastics gym, Bayshore Elite Gymnastics in Redwood City, California where her business earned four consecutive "Best of the Bay" awards from Bay Area Parent magazine, Erica's commitment to quality athletics has made her a trusted name in the world of gymnastics for over 25 years. Now, with deep ties to the Austin area through family and friends, Erica has created TumbleTX, soon to be housed in a brand new, 11,000sf vibrant, welcoming space where athletes of all levels can thrive. Whether you’re discovering gymnastics for the first time or pursuing competitive goals, TumbleTX combines expert instruction and a supportive environment that feels like home. We take pride in offering programs that cater to athletes young and old in recreational gymnastics, cheer, ninja and parkour classes, exciting camps, and fun-filled parties. We even bring the fun to you through our TumbleTX Mobile Gymnastics program, a partner company owned by our general manager, Shamra Ray. This program brings the magic of gymnastics to local schools, community facilities, and even your own backyard. Giving back is at the heart of who we are. Erica and the TumbleTX family actively support local charities, schools, and community initiatives. Together, our athletes, parents, and staff foster a culture of collaboration, kindness, and community spirit.

Meet the Team
Erics Meitz
Founder & CEO
Erica brings over 30 years of experience as a coach and business owner. She has coached gymnasts and horse vaulters from recreational through elite levels but focuses more on the business side of things these days. You might still see her on the floor occasionally coaching students and mentoring coaches.
Shamra Ray
General Manager
As a childhood educator and coach, Shamra is dedicated to developing young gymnasts with strong foundational skills and a focus on form, discipline, and fun. She comes with over 25 years of experience and has worked and partnered with Erica for most of those years. She is also the founder and owner of TumbleTX Mobile Gymnastics.
